Things you need to know...
The Zip and Link sets offered below are what I think to be the best available from a number of large and small independent manufacturers. They start at £295 going up to £525 for full Superking Zip and Link sets. This price range is my market and therefore I have no need to add dearer models. However, if you like what you see and wish for me to source you something a little more exclusive then please contact me and let me know what you are looking for. Personally, I think this is an exceptional range and I'm sure you will find the right mattress here.
I do not have images for all these Zip and Link models. All images used are either showing double or kingsize models but the descriptions are for actual Ziplink sets. Also, please double check the bases will actually go up your stairs. They are manufactured North to South and problems usually occur if your stairwell has a very sharp twist with low headroom.
Zip and links come in three standard sizes:
5'0 wide x 6'6" long - Kingsize - Always same price as Extraking
6'0 wide x 6'3" long - Extraking
6'0 wide x 6'6" long - Superking
Kingsize set consists of two mattresses and two bases - 2 x 2'6 x 6'6
Extraking set consists of two mattresses and two bases - 2 x 3'0 x 6'3
Superkingsize set consists of two mattresses and two bases - 2 x 3'0 x 6'6

Sets priced between £200 - £300 |
The set below represents the best value for money in this price range. Lets be honest, for a superking zip and link set under £300 there is not much choice unless you want to sleep on a bag of springs! .

The Super Damask is absolutely the best ziplink you can get for under £300. Medium with a 12.5g spring system. . 10" Deep Mattresses. Hand tufted with higher than average waddings and fillings. If this falls within your budget then you will not be able to get better. Fabric is an embossed pure white soft damask.
If your budget can stretch a bit further then the choices of Zip and Links in the £300 - £400 price range will offer a much higher quality of internal components for not much more. If not, this EKS set for £275 will prove excellent value for money.
Moving slightly up in price to between £300 - £400 |
This price range is pretty much the acceptable starter range for zip and link beds. However, this does not mean the quality of the mattresses will be inferior. Far from it. In this range I introduce a beautiful zip and link set with 1000 pocket springs, deep layers of poly waddings and finished off with a beautiful white jacquard fabric for £395 the set!

| This is a very well priced zip and link bed considering the price of this EKS set is only £50 more than the one above. The main features on this model that makes it a recommended buy is the 1000 pocket springs and the deep layers of waddings and felts that make up the comfort layer. The size of this bed is 2 x 3'0 x 6'3 zipped and linked. | |||

Going up in price to between £400 - £500 |
There is no reason not to have a pocket sprung spring system when your budget is in this price range. Remember, pocket springs are counted as those in a King Size mattress. On Zip and Link models the spring count will be higher - For example The Farndale Superking Zip and Link below will have 1200 pocket springs (give or take) even though it is described as a 1000 model. (600 springs in each mattress)

This mattress is very similar to the Pashmina above. However, this one has a deep layer of soft reflex foam as the comfort layer rather than the rebound polyester wadding above. Again the 1000 springs bely the outstanding comfort levels on either of these mattresses. |
