This is a combination of memory foam and reflex foam - the same combination as The President but at a much lower price. The difference lies mainly in the covering : On The President the cover is deep quilted, zipped and removable and on this model the fabric is totally stitched which gives the mattress a more firmer tension.

My personal preference goes towards this model as I am not really a fan of removable covers. A good mattress protector should do an equal or better job than a removable cover and the mattress stays like new for a lot longer. Also, when the removable fabric (President) is zipped, it can be prone to 'rumple' after a couple of washes and lose the look.

The top layer of 500mm of memory foam gives it a firm but comfortable sleep surface. If you like a soft mattress and the enveloping sensation then this is NOT for you. If you are a fan of a firm mattress then you will love this.

This is firm in the sense that when you lie on it there is hardly any give or 'bounce'. However, the sensation you get is a slow, soft sinking into the mattress as the memory foam heats up.

The core layer of Reflex foam gives more than adequate support and entirely suitable for all body weights. I would recommend this to persons with a body weight of over 16 stone.

The material is microquilted providing an almost flat sleep surface ideal for those of you who may be sensitive to the tufts on most mattresses.

Standard features on the base include an upholstered and padded top (not just covered hardboard) to give additional cushioning for the mattress, a rolled and padded bumper bar and stylish brass linking bars.

Despite the low price, this is a well manufactured mattress and you will not be disappointed with the quality and comfort.
