Realistically, if I was to ask the majority of people to name some well known brands, they would struggle to come up with more than 3 mattress brandnames.
I try to source all my beds and mattresses from Yorkshire. This area is renowned for bed manufacturing and there are literally hundreds of factories - some good and of course some not so good.
The question you should ask yourself is 'why should you pay the considerable extra sum to have a Brand Name on the mattress when a comparable product is available for considerably less'?
For me, getting any well known brand included on this site would be really easy. I choose not to.
The waiting times are increased which is an inconvenience, but the most important reason I do not have them is that I can get a better quality product for the same cost price from a manufacturer who is relatively unknown.
Many manufacturers that you will not have heard of actually make beds and mattresses for some very well known stores and outlets. They are just re-labeled and sold as a store brand.
The label on the bed or mattress will be specially produced to identify the store - not the manufacturer. This is so you cannot compare the price with the same spec model.
The number one answer is that I have a very low mark up price. I make no bones about the fact that I am a sole trader and make a decent living selling a quality product at a low price.
I have no overheads such as store rents, no rates, no staff - not even a helper with the deliveries, my costs are kept to an absolute minimum in order to be able to present my products at these prices.
As you can imagine, my delivery schedule fills up quite quickly each week. My delivery round is limited to the central region of the country which helps keep my fuel bill and delivery costs low as well.
With this in mind I am able to negotiate the best prices with the factories because I know full well that the products I buy will sell.
Although my prices are low it really does not mean the quality of the beds or mattresses are inferior.
I work extremely hard to find the best available bed or mattress for your money. This means that it will be highly unlikely you will be able to find a similar spec product for less - No matter what name is on the label!

This is part of why I offer a no nonsense return policy to assure you of my commitment to getting the best product for your money to you. To have a bed returned would obviously cost me money so I do all I possibly can to avoid this situation.
In the three years I have been trading online I have had ZERO returns and ZERO complaints. This is a fact that makes me extremely proud and a personal goal that I will do all I can to keep.
I do help to assemble the products for many reasons. One, is that I can do it far quicker than you can and Two, many of my customers are elderly and appreciate this service

No! It is a well known fact that people trying out a mattress in a High Street store will spend no more than ten minutes 'trying out' the mattress. This is virtually less than useless.
It takes about a week to get used to a new mattress and the odds of you being able to select the right mattress in the shop are just the same as selecting one off this, or any other site.
This is why I go to great lengths to describe the mattress in full. I leave out absolutely nothing and I personally think you get more off me than you possibly could in a shop as I want you to get the best bed for you - not me. In doing so I know you will more than happy and be a customer of mine for life.
What you do need to know is your preferred sleep surface - either soft, soft to medium or firm. If it has been a while since you last bought a bed it would be a good idea to take a trip to the stores and sample the tensions on offer.
