THE EMPEROR 1000 MEMORY

I liked this bed so much I had it for myself! Well, the double mattress anyway. I use it with a bedframe and can honestly say it is just perfect.

The 1000 pocket springs is supplemented by an orthopaedic pad which, although I would class it as a medium makes it relatively firm. I personally prefer this level of tension as I do suffer from lower back pain and find that this bit of extra firmness/support helps. The 5cm top layer of memory foam provides a very comfortable sleep surface.

Now, unusually for a memory foam topped mattress this model is reversible. The base side of the mattress is upholstered with a soft poly pad ideal for summer months if you find the memory foam layer a little too hot.

The fabric used is a microquilt Stress Free which is a comfortable soft stretch material and supposed to dissipate any static charge in your body as you sleep (although this is totally unnoticeable I assume it does work).

Pricewise, this is an exceptionally affordable high spec product considering the spring count and the 500mm memory foam top layer.

EMPEROR

Standard features on the base include an upholstered padded top (not just covered hardboard) to give additional cushioning for the mattress, a rolled and padded bumper bar and stylish brass linking bars.

BTW. My sister also has this model and her partner is about 16st. 'Roll Together' is no longer a problem and they thoroughly recommend it.
